To our customers and donors:

As our community is beginning to feel the effects of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), Resurrection Street Ministry and S.T.U.F.F. Thrift Store is committed to the health and safety of our staff, volunteers, shoppers, donors, and community. We are closely watching local and national reports about the virus. We are also following recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO) on how to minimize the potential for contracting or spreading the virus.

We are expanding our janitorial and sanitation efforts. We are regularly disinfecting frequently touched surfaces such as shopping carts, door handles, counters, and restrooms. We are requesting our volunteers and staff to follow CDC guidelines (such as washing hands regularly and other measures) to protect the health of our community.

To date we are not aware of any of our volunteers or staff members being exposed to anyone with the virus or having been infected by the virus. We have however instructed them to stay home and follow the CDC’s instruction should they develop symptoms or encounter affected individuals.

We want you to know that our food bank and thrift store are open for their regular hours and are a safe place to shop, donate, and volunteer. We will continue to follow the guidance of local and national organizations in making future operational decisions as the situation progresses.

Thank you for your support of our organization as we continue to help veterans, seniors and others in our community who are in crisis.

God Bless America,

Bill Berry
